Basic rules for Marrying
A Man cannot marry a woman who is a mehram according to Islamic law. The woman who most adheres to Islam is the ideal wife.A woam maybe married for her property,rank or beauty.There must be common ground to enable understanding and to overcome misunderstanding.
Divorce
Divorce is the most hateful thing to Allah, but it is allowed (halal) only in the case of absolute necessity. If a couple tried their best to reconcile their differences, but they still could not agree and they found impossible to live with each other, then only in that case they should separate in a proper and decent manner.
Marriage Ceremony
Marriage (nikah) is a solemn and sacred social contract between bride and groom. This contract is a strong covenant (mithaqun Ghalithun) as expressed in Quran 4:21). The marriage contract in Islam is not a sacrament. It is revocable.
